Stop Cat Scratching - Helpful Techniques

Cats are among the most endearing creatures on the planet, we love them to bits. Their unique personalities allow them to walk into our lives unannounced and simply take up residence within minutes. Ask anyone who has ever been adopted by a roaming cat, that one day decided to walk onto your property.

One thing we, as owners, seem to forget time and time again is they are only half domesticated. Put aside all that cute cuddly fur for one moment, forget about them rolling around in front on the fire. When kitty decides to strike, it hurts and sometimes it can be fairly messy. Cats have got two sets of claws, ones for playing around the house with and ones for ruthlessly taking down pigeons and chasing away others daring to wander onto their territory.

Living With The Cat - Chapter 2

When your little cat ended up the morning meal, just have a little patience, because in the next few minutes it will be looking around for the right place to do its necessities. Show him the pet-toilet; help him to climb into it. If necessary give him an idea, moving his foreleg back and forth in the cat sand. He will like it and he will repeat it. After some seconds he or she will feel the urgent desire to sit down and have a pee or more. If everything works right, the animal should cover his “things” with sand afterwards. Give him a nice word and some caressing; take it out of the toilet. If you repeat this two or three times the animal will remember it for the rest of its life and you have one problem less. From now on you little cat knows the basic behavior inside of your house.

Children And Pet Rabbits

A house rabbit may seem like the perfect companion for your child, but this is not always the case. Many children are too young to handle a rabbit appropriately. Bunnies may look cute and cuddly, but they do not behave in ways typified in children’s stories or cartoons.

Many rabbits do not enjoy being held and will kick and claw when picked up. Your child may end up with some painful scratches. Your rabbit may end up far worse. Rabbits are delicate creatures and struggling to get out of the grasp of a child (or adult) can leave them with broken bones or other injuries.

Losing A Horse

No, I don’t mean lost in a pasture or stolen in the night, although those are bad things too. I mean passed on from this world, no longer here on the planet. If you like horses enough to spend a bunch of time with them, then chances are, at some point, you might have to deal with losing a horse too. A lot of riders start out with older horses. Some older horses are the best teachers of all.

Here is part of the process that can happen:
